Were masoned from sandstone chiseled from the bedrock of the surrounding mountains. Our roof is built on poplar timber that grew old in local terroir.
This respect for environment runs throughout a wine estate that was founded in the autumn of 1998 when the clouds over Stellenbosch mountain opened to reveal a waterfall cascading into the valley below.
What started as an abundance of citrus trees has become one of the most scenic wine estates in the Stellenbosch region reminiscent of the Gardens of Versailles.
