Waterford Elgin Pinot Noir
Single vineyard – The Waterford range is well known for terroir specific wines. In this case the Pinot Noir is carefully sourced from a single vineyard in Elgin, the best suited terroir for the growth of Pinot Noir, with a slightly cooler climate than Stellenbosch. Once the grapes are harvested, they are transported to Waterford Estate for further vinification. A very natural approach is followed in order to best express the characteristics of the surroundings of the vineyards.
The maiden vintage being 2009, the Waterford Pinot Noir has since proven itself amongst more well-known Pinot Noir producers with regards to international ratings and write-ups.
