Winter Dinners with Waterford Estate and SALT are a unique exploration of food and wine.


Food and Wine ae two of the most celebrated accompaniments throughout the ages, with chefs and winemakers alike pouring their hearts and their souls into their crafts to create art we all so enjoy. We invite you to join us on a magical evening that celebrates the enchantment of winter, where every sip of red wine warms not only your body but also your soul, and the crackling of the warm fire shuns the icy winds and sets the scene for a night of romance and culinary excellence.


Waterford Estate’s cellarmaster, Mark le Roux and Beau du Toit from SALT will orchestrate an evening of great food and great wine. The rich aroma of hearty dishes will fill the air, accompanied by the captivating nuances of elegantly crafted wines – this is an evening you wouldn’t want to miss!


These Winter Dinner events are a celebration of food and wine, where we will embark on a journey to discover the intricacies of a seamless pairing. The night will see the Chefs take center stage to explain their ethos in the culinary arts where they will weave stories and flavours together to teach us about the mysteries of the cuisine. Waterford Estate’s cellarmaster, Mark le Roux will then explain the why and the how behind the pairing with a focus on enriching the minds and palates of our guests.

27 July - Shiraz & Venison Evening

31 August - Cabernet Sauvignon & Steak Evening

21 September - Thai Evening
