Do you know what type of wine you like? Would you like to improve your wine knowledge?

Hear more from the people behind the scenes in wine. ‘One More Glass Of Wine’ podcast’s first episode has been released and talks about everything there is to know about winemaking without all the fuss.

Whether you’re someone who spends a lot of time in the car, or a runner who’s tired of your current playlist, or you’ve binge-watched all there is to binge watch on Netflix, podcasts are a great way to take in all sorts of content - including wine!

The world of wine is a complicated one, one with many different varieties, styles, regions, rules, and people but one thing we can all feel is that this world is one filled with passion. Wine is essentially just one large conversation and the ‘One More Glass Of Wine’ podcast continues the conversation. The podcast is the brainchild of Waterford Estate, a winery in the heart of  Blaauwklippen Valley in Stellenbosch - South Africa's most famous wine-producing region. Waterford Estate has always endeavoured to educate all our guests on the world of wine and to instil a thirst for more wine and wine knowledge.

He explains his winemaking history and growth with Waterford Estate as well as touching on Waterford Estate’s Signature Cabernet Sauvignon, the unique style in which it is manufactured and Cabernet Sauvignon’s place in the South African culture.

Waterford Estate viticulturist, David van Schalkwyk

The second episode features Waterford Estate’s viticulturist, David van Schalkwyk, and gives listeners an interesting look into the farming mindset behind growing Grenache Noir. David shares his growth in the industry and his view on viticulture, in particular how he extracts the best from this vineyard.

Tasting Room Floor Manager, Brandon Engelbrecht

Later episodes sees Tasting Room Head Manager, Werner Els, and Tasting Room Floor Manager, Brandon Engelbrecht, touch on the Waterford Estate Chardonnay and the Old Vine Project Chenin blanc respectively.
