As the long, golden days of a Cape Town summer give way to warm evenings, we invite you to slow down and enjoy something truly special. This summer, we are delighted to introduce extended operating hours and anexperience designed to capture the magic of Stellenbosch.
Extended summer hours at Waterford Estate
To make the most of summer’s lingering light, our tasting room will be staying open later, giving guests more time to relax, taste, and enjoy the estate at their own pace.
Monday to Saturday: 10:00–19:00
Sunday: 10:00–17:00

The Sundowner Wine Drive Experience
There is something undeniably captivating about the Western Cape in summer, and the Sundowner Wine Drive places you right in the heart of it.
Setting off at 17:00 and ending at 19:00, this classic drive to our coveted ‘red wine’ deck invites you to explore the farm and the rolling landscape as the sun starts to touch the top of Table Mountain. Guests will enjoy four Waterford Estate wines, thoughtfully selected to reflect the character of the estate, paired with a beautifully curated platter that complements both the wines and the surrounding scenery.
Priced at R1350 per person, the Sundowner Wine Drive is the perfect way to transition from day to evening before you visit Stellenbosch’s vivid restaurant scene.
