A vibrant yellow and lime green colour. The aromatics of this wine are driven by zesty lime, fresh peach pip and a light touch of oak from ageing in barrels. The age of these vines still proves to produce lovely restraint, tightly structured wines which are rather perfumed when young, but develop beautifully from time spent in bottle, between 3 to 5 years from release. This wine shows more minerality and flintiness than the standard wine due to the piece of vineyard containing more granite stone in the soil, this gives the wine more tightness and much better ageing potential. The wine is also of a style more destined for classical ageing. Younger than 3 years, it is suggested to allow the wine to breath slightly before serving or a soft decant if possible.
