Earn Your Glass: SWRC Charity Run at Waterford Estate

This November, Waterford Estate invites you to Earn Your Glass – a month dedicated to balance, wellness, and connection. One of the highlights is our Earn Your Glass: SWRC Charity Run at Waterford Estate on 8th November. The Somerset West Run Club will lead a scenic run through our valley, passing some of the country’s top wine estates while soaking up the grandeur of the Stellenbosch and Helderberg Mountains. Gather at the entrance for a 6:30 am warm-up, then take on the Upper Blaauwklippen Road: 3.6 km of tar, starting at 200 meters above sea level, climbing to 340 meters, and back down for a total of 7.2 km. With the summer sun here, we’re kicking off the day the right way so you can truly enjoy your well-deserved glass of wine later! Every kilometre counts – for every kilometre you run, you’ll earn that % off when buying a bottle of Waterford wine. For just R120, participants will get a chance to test-drive Adidas shoes, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, and the first 100 sign-ups will receive a wine and chocolate experience voucher. There will also be awesome prizes for the top five men and women, Red Bull to fuel your vibe, and a live DJ bringing festive beats to keep the energy high throughout the morning. But here’s the best part - we’re raising funds to provide Christmas food hampers for 50 families this season… and we can’t do it without you!
